Špindlerův Mlýn lies on the confluence of the river Labe (Elbe), only few kilometers from its source, at an altitude of 575 m to 1555 m in the heart of the Giant Mountains (the highest Czech mountains). The the magic of this protected natural reserve has attracted visitors for centuries.
The mountain centre offers numerous leisure opportunities for visitors in the beautiful nature. In winter, every winter sport lover can choose from snowboarding, skiing, alpine touring, snowshoe skiing or snowtubing and toboggan run. From spring to autumn, there is time for walking, undemanding nature trails in the city, hiking or cycling in the Giant Mountains.
